Alexandra received her BA in Psychology from Mount Holyoke College in Hadley, MA, and her clinical Master of Social Work degree from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. She is a Licensed Master of Social Work (LMSW) and a Rostered Psychotherapist in the state of Vermont.
She offers collaborative healing-centered engagement with affirmation, warmth, humor, and authenticity. She works from an understanding that peoples’ health is deeply interconnected with their social environments and she is always striving to cultivate a practice that is grounded in anti-oppressive and social justice frameworks.
Alexandra’s practice is grounded in psychodynamic, attachment-based, and relational-cultural theories. She is a trained EMDR provider, and she utilizes interventions from a range of therapeutic modalities, including motivational interviewing, CBT, harm reduction, narrative therapy, and mindfulness. She specializes in working with individuals seeking support in navigating experiences with identity, trauma, complex grief, anger, anxiety, and depression.
